Some people can just stop something cold turkey, just turn it off like flipping a switch. That has never worked very well for me, although I came pretty close when I stopped eating meat. All or nothing has always felt restrictive for me and doesn’t leave much room for being human and getting off track, which happens sometime especially if you have 50 years of bad eating habits to undo! What works best for me is baby steps. I take a step. I fall down. I get back up and try again. Over and over as many times as it takes until I’m up and walking towards my best life.
